What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Spinder Blocks HD is a quick-paced, arcade-style puzzle game. It's a sort of hybrid between falling block puzzles, like Tetris, and match-three puzzles, like Bejeweled 2. These falling blocks can be spun to reveal several different colors, and you have to match five of the same color to make the blocks vanish. So you keep spinning as blocks keep falling. It's addictive.

Is it any good?

SPINDER BLOCKS will give you finger cramps. While it starts easy, with only two columns of blocks to worry about, the difficulty ramps up immensely as more and more columns are added. You'll be spinning blocks like a madman -- and enjoying it the whole time. This is a very fun hybrid of two very popular puzzle game types (falling blocks game and match-three games) -- and the cross-breeding experiment is ultimately successful. Make sure you're up to the challenge, though. As simple as it looks, it might actually be too hard for a lot of players.
