Is It Any Good?
The good thing about STATE HUNT is that it gets kids eyes off the device's screen in a car and actually looking out onto the road and into the world. This free app doesn't have much depth, so it would be nice to see other features added in upcoming versions (perhaps even as simple as some trivia about each state pop up when that license plate is spotted?). Even so, the game itself has been road tested for generations and this app is simple enough for any reading member of the family to use, and the price is right.

Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.
