Some wonderful interactive bits, but an uneven story.

The animations and fun interactive elements of TEDDY'S NIGHT are just as good as those of its predecessor, Teddy's Day, but the actual story of that first book was much cuter and easier to follow. This sequel has a sweet concept, but the telling of it is a bit disjointed, and certain scenes even appear to be out of place (the bear takes a bath after a scene in which it is in bed). There's also a juvenile farting scene, which kids will love, but some parents won't. Teddy's Night really shines in terms of its interactive elements -- they are really pretty awesome. As in the first Teddy app, you can draw a crayon picture and actually have it hang on the wall in the illustration. You can play the stripes on the wallpaper like the strings on a harp -- and pluck out real songs, too! You can build with the blocks that the girl in the story uses (keeping your structure balanced is a bit of a feat, but fun nonetheless). All those imaginative features, plus excellent animation, make this a good app, even if the book itself could be better.
