Is It Any Good?
TOY SHOP ADVENTURES may be a clever way for the developer Glu to market their other apps, but no one can deny that it is a fun, well-made app unto itself. The graphics are great, the controls pretty solid, and the multi-tiered, obstacle-filled levels well-designed. Most items you come across are movable, which adds a nice element of variety to the gameplay. For instance, to get over a high box in your path, you can bounce on a big rubber ball to add height to your, or you could walk on top of the ball to roll it to right up to that obstacle you need to jump.
