Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that VideoFX Live is a fun video creation tool that allows teens to make original movies on their iOS device and share via email or social media. What's notable is VideoFX Live's numerous onboard video special effects, with upgrades available in-app. VideoFX Live records both video and audio and automatically stores movies in-app. Teens can save their VideoFX Live creations to their camera roll, upload directly to Facebook or YouTube, or send via email. Is It Any Good?
VideoFX Live is a great app for creating original videos and is easy to use. The app's technology is sophisticated and gives teens powerful tools to make stunning movies. What makes VideoFX Live stand out is its great in-app special effects and titles toolkit -- they load quickly, so there's little down time when making a movie. It's the app to have on hand to shoot just about anything -- a walk through the park, family celebration, school field trip, or just an afternoon hanging out with friends. In minutes, teens can create an impressive, original video and share with family and friends.
VideoFX Live has some privacy concerns, but less so than with similar apps. Teens have the option to upload their VideoFX Live movies to the web, and the app encourages sharing on social media. Teens should think carefully about what they include in their VideoFX Live videos and where they share them. Teens also need to consider the ramifications of copyright infringement and avoid sharing videos of movies and TV shows.
