How do I make sure my kids don't lose knowledge and skills over the summer?

Summer slide -- when kids forget what they learned from the school year -- is pretty common. Here are a few ways to keep kids skills up over the summer.

I would actually say obviously you keep studying. For me I study ahead into the topics that will be covered when school starts? Like say maybe the first half of the year. Okay, I'm not really from the US and I think most if not all of you are there but I guess this should apply to most places? Although there would be the cultural difference because here. we study all year long whether its during the hols or during school terms. There's no other way to keep .up to everyone else here so I'm an average student.
