It was a great book but not really for tweens under 13 just because it's suggestive and slightly descriptive but the book is just great.

GREAT BOOK!

It was great! The stupid people on here saying that it sends bad messages? Whats wrong with having sex with your husband no matter what age you are? And saying that it encourages unprotected sex? THEY ARE MARRIED! The book is great as are all of them. Definitely a must read :)

Most tweens who read this book think it's perfectly fine, because they don't understand it. Middle schoolers will think it's fine, whereas high schoolers will think it's too much. parents

Horrible Book! Don't Read

This book is really gross and it sends out bad messages. Bella gets married to a vampire at age 18. It's pretty ridiculous. Then he breaks her dawn if you catch my drift. Also she gets pregnant which encourages unprotected sex. This is a very bad book. Don't read it!

perfect for tweens and up!

Although Bella and edward have sex on their honeymoon, they don't go into detail and rarely actually say the word. If younger kids read the book, they probably won't know what the two did. In the middle of the book, Bella delivers a baby, Renesmee. The scene is very bloody and Bella nearly dies. Money is spent like the cullens have a money tree: They only wear clothes once, they made Bella and edward a house. They paid for their honeymoon. Have their own island. The message isn't that positive because Bella gets married right after high school and gets pregnant a few days after the wedding. But, I love that Jacob imprints on Renesmee! the story is brilliantly written and i love it!!

REALLY NOT FOR ANYONE UNDER 16.

I have seen kids still in elementary school reading these books and I just don't think that they are appropriate for them. Girls the ages of 14 and up should read the series, not little kids. This book contains many, many sexual refrences and sex scenes between the protagonist and her vampire husband. Also, there is a very graphic birth scene extremely unsuitable for children. The scene is very disturbing (Bella's spine breaks and Edward rips open her stomach b/c the child is eating its way out of her).

horrible book!

this is a horrible book. please don't let your kids read it! i'm anti-twilight and i pretty much joined just to review this book, but i don't want to rant on you guys, so here are some main reasons why it's a horrible book: - negative rolde models. bella is a whiny and annoying mary sue and she gets what she wants without working for anything. she married her sparkly vampire husband edward just to have sex with him. - that leads me to point out that there is too much sexual content for kids. sure, the sex isn't described in detail, but edward and bella are constantly having "house-breaking", "night-long" sex. - too graphic. bella started puking out blood then edward had to rip her stomach open and take out their baby. then he had to bite her all over her body to turn her into a vampire. disgusting! - PEDOPHILIA!! do some research, go to twilightsucks.com, i don't even want to go in-depth about this... - not to mention the book is ANTI-CLIMATIC. stephenie meyer [worst author ever, has a big ego, can't take criticism...] built up all this suspense for a fight, then guess what? nothing happens and edward and bella get their sparkly, happy ending! worst, book, ever! don't let your young kids read it, or let them read it as an example of how not to write.

good book

this book is really good but then in the middle of the book, it changes to a different persons perspective and then back. the end is super boring though. but its worth it to read especially if youve read the first three books.

Best Series!

I LOVE this book. This series just is another series where you can pick it up and just let your mind wonder for hours. It does have things in it that may not be completely appropriate but its just a chance for the mind to wonder and go off into a land where anything can happen. And its all about true love. Best series.

Some things to know: 1. Bella and Edward get married right out of high school. 2. Edwards family has an ISLAND. 3. When things are broken, Edward doesn't care at all. 4. S*x is mentioned alot in the book. 5. All Bella thinks about is having s*x with Edward. 6. Bella has an unexpected pregnancy. 7. Bella almost dies(again). 8. Bella becomes a vampire. 9. Bella has some weird baby(half human half vampire-strange). 10. Bella acts drunk when thinking of names for the weird baby(ex:EJ(Edward Jacob), and Renesme). 11. Unrealistic(The baby talking at a week old;growing rate;baby's weird power). 12. Bella's dress tears way up her thigh, while hunting. 13. Rare vampire "powers" become very common. 14. Bella has many powers, because she has to, or else the book wont be interesting(uh huh...ya right!). 15. Vampire "powers" adapt from reading minds, and seeing decisions, into superhero powers, which makes the whole story seem more like a comic book. 16. Bella forges papers. 17. Bella isnt very smart (ex: Bella doesnt think that after she had s*x with Edward that she might be pregnant, and alittle bit sooner, due to the fact that Edward is a VAMPIRE! 18. Bella doesn't follow through with the whole "newborn vampire horrible first year". 19. Bella's life is perfect(impossible!) 20. Everything that Bella does turns out positive for her team in the end(ya right!).

Not worth the hype

Though the style leans towards the younger teens, the content does not. It was a let down after the first three books and somewhat different in tone. The characters, though the same, are very different in their actions from the first three books and you get the feeling that the author was just wanting to finish the series in the way that the readers would like, totally missing the entire point of the other books. Probably over long as well there were parts which I just skim read through sheer boredom. One to read if you feel like ruining the other three

Good for adults and 16+

The twilight saga is meant for a adults and late teens. The fan base is way to young. I believe this book and the others can negatively effect young girls. Bella is helpless and hopeless with out edward. She quits school, doesnt go to college to be with him. She also get married and pregnant at 18. This makes here out to be a damsel in distress and is anti- feminism. Worst of all this protrayal of a weak female obsessed by love is treated as to be perfectly fine by the writer rather then unhealthy as it is. Bella and Edward have violent and rough "relations". "Relations" are protrayed many times in this book. After one time she is left bitten, bruised, and scratched by edward. Bella, of course, gets pregnant with a supernatural baby of some sort, which steals away all of her strenght and life as it grows. The birth of the child is highly gory, with blood breaking bones, and a near death. There is also nudity in this book. My 12 year old sister will have to wait to read this one.
