What's the Story?
A slim story to be sure, this book won't become a favorite because of its text. The premise is simple -- Do you love me? Yes I do. Then repeat with variants on the same cozy theme. No two page spread has more than two lines, and most have only one, making it a quick read perfect for bedtime.
Is It Any Good?
While the text is sweetly predictable, the pictures are what this book is about. Stunningly bright computer-generated creatures with round faces, big noses, and adorable eyes cuddle and kiss against rainbow backgrounds. Picture bath toys -- the kind that squeak -- and you'll get an idea of the beings that populate these pages. You can almost smell the plastic!
