I love this book so much because it has magic in it and is totally my thing. Hey you may not like it but it is your fault because you are missing out on a really great book.

Stereotypical of Old England and definitely not historical fiction

This book is more of a parody of some well known fairytales then "a mix between historical fiction and a fantasy" It has some alright messages and a form of stereotyping language of old England as well as making Christianity seem overbearing.
