You will feel the pain!!

I started crying when i read this book and i never cry over books!! Its so sad when Edaward ACTS like he dosen't want Bella to come with him. Its heart breaking. All though i wish Edward was in more of it and Bella never became friends with that Stupid Werewolf was a really good book!!!

i thought that this book was o.k it is hard to not have Edward in it and Jacob is not the most exciting character. nothing happens for 200 pages in this book except for Bella doing ridiculous things!

You'll feel the pain.

This book is so sad when Edward leaves that you'll actually feel how Bella is leaving. I almost cried which i rarely do for books and movies.

still captivating......less edward ;[

in this book i find it quite prolonged to a sequel of twilight. edward was hardly in it and it takes the encouragement to continue reading down a notch since he's such a beautiful and unique character. it didnt appeal to me much and im looking forward to reading eclispe but i feel this is one of those books that made me wish our world is shared among vampires and werewolves. i love how stephanie meyer captivated my attention with all the details and it made me wish my boyfriend (whose name is also edward) a vampire! haha or have edward cullen's fast ability to move and listen to thoughts since we're forbidden to see each other. i absolutely love it even though it was quite staggering to read. and i wish edward would change bella already! but that'd reduce her books to 2. im starting to get annoyed of Jacob. but he looks very handsome in the movie =) and the vocabs meyers used is a great education addition to this beautiful vamp romance

The Best out of Series

In my opinion Bella really evolves in this book. Edward is a very enjoyable character, but this little break away from him shows what Bella is really like minus all the mooning over Edward. Jacob is an interesting character and the funniest in the series, but all in all pretty normal, and that's what we needed to see. How Bella acts around a normal guy friend.

I cried!

I cried when Edward broke up/left Bella. And no book has EVER made me cry! This was a amazing book. Stephanie Meyer is an awesome author! xxx

Annoying Middle!

The book was v. boring in the middle... The last 6 chapters out of 24 were most interesting. The first 3 were good too... but the rest just bored me and I couldn't wait to arrive at the part that Alice comes.

New Moon Gives a "New" Outlook on a Character

The Begging, had a lot, of action. But the Middle was just Bella visting Jacob, because Edward leaves forks. Jacob is werewolf. Victoria kills Harry, and Edward comes back in end.

It was awesome!!!

I think that New Moon was a awesome book. I cried when Edward left Bella. In spots it was so sad. No book has ever made me cry that way before. New Moon was also a great book because it hooked you and you just couldn't stop reading. The night that i finished the book i read until about 7:00 p.m. - 3:30 a.m. This book is a must read for any teen. Twilight was also good but in New Moon the story changes drastically. I can't wait until they make the movie for New Moon because the book was simply amazing. It blew my mind how good this book was. This was the best series ever made. I read the whole series and it was so AWESOME!!! Anyway the series is a must read series.

Very good read!!

I love this entire series! New Moon does sort of send a bad message though. Edward leaves Bella and Bella lets her life fall apart because of it. But, you can't really judge her on it because Edward is like her sole mate!!!

Melodrama, melodrama, melodrama - but utterly addictive

In typical Twilight fashion, this book manages to be a totally engrossing read without hardly any depth at all. Bella's constant moping starts to trigger the gag reflex after awhile, especially once you realize that Jacob is hugely healthier for Bella than Edward, and not just because he's halfway human. But where would the thrills and chills be in that? As long as you don't expect this book to be something it's not (do NOT read it if you're looking for something deep and meaningful), it is a great way to pass the time. I am definitely looking forward to the film adaptation this year. I wish more "happened" - and that there was more to Bella's life than Edward, e.g. childhood friends or something - but I still enjoyed it.

One of my Favorites Actually

I had actually already read this one befor I even knew that it was a series. I came to that conclusion not long after though. I read this book in about 2 days, I just simply couldnt put it down. I loved how Stephenie Meyer used a mix of romance and suspense to draw today's teens to this type of novel. As soon as I finished, I was put on a 2 week waiting list for the third book, "Eclipse", so I think I can speak for a few other people as well when I say that these books are truly AMAZING.
