A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this book.
Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that this tale of babysitting buccaneers is rollicking and inoffensive fun.
Is It Any Good?
Readers don't need to be familiar with the first book to enjoy the energetic silliness of this sequel. Every kid loves stories where grown-ups need practical instruction from a wiser and patient child hero -- that's why there are so many out there. And what could be better than an unruly crew of pirates who obey the wishes of a little boy and his baby sister?
The colorful illustrations nicely add to the hilarious chaos of the story. Pirates grin and grimace, fight over teddy bears and diaper the cat, and let themselves be led around by the beard (literally) by a toddling infant.
