BATMAN REVIEW

This game is full of action, but batman never kills & does not slaughter everyone. Though this game is kindof dark, it is toatally for ages 13+ thats why it is rated T.

Its Fine

Arkham asylum is definetely ok for anyone 13 and up. It is probably ok for a 12 year old too. There is violence throughout the game but you dont spend the whole game fighting. also, there is no blood AT ALL during the fights. Some characters (like poison ivy) show cleavage but most eleven year olds will be able to handle it. There is alchol and tobacco in the game but you never see it being used. As for language, it is used throughout the game but it isnt that bad (no f bombs or anything). Also, it is a great game let anyone 12 or up play it.

A masterpiece with scary parts.

This game has an eerie feeling throughout. It seems there is never a time when it isn't storming and dark. Some villains, including the scarecrow, are extremely creepy. One sequence where the game is meant to look like it is glitching can be frightening. The girls dress provocatively and blood is on some environments. Message(10): Batman rarely kills and when he does it is to help others. Language(7): Infrequent use of mature swear words. Violence(10): Fighting seems to be a major component of the game. Sex(5): Both female villains are fan service at its best. Quality(10): The game play is fantastic, and the graphics are splendid! Grab this game, but beware if younger kids are playing.

Batman: Arkham Asylum

A amazing dark mature game. Really fun to play. Lots of fighting, shooting, punching, kicking, explosions and more violent action. Batman is a good person who does what he believes is right and does not kill villains, but knocks them out. Cursing like hell, d**n, and b**ch . Part of the DC Batman franchise. Batman tracks down Gordon using a tobbaco trail he left. A amazing game, realistic graphics and amazing fight sequences. highly recomended.

Awesome!

This is one of my alltime favorite games! The creativity of the different villans is amazing, Harley Quinn dresses quite revealing in a tight top and miniskirt, but she is hilarious. The graphics are amazing and it is a fun and certianly addicting game that I always have the time for. Get ready to be hooked!

Awesome Game!

I really enjoyed the game. It had a great story line and was really fun to play. The female villians in the game were not worried about modesty. Posion Ivy wore a 'shirt' that only covered her breasts but went down very low and showed her stomach. She also wore bikini bottom style bottoms. Oh course there is violence in the game but Batman never kills anyone. The sequel is pretty awesome to.

Seriously Common Sense Media?

This is one of the best games ever. The story is amazing, the gameplay is nearly flawless, and the graphics are gorgeous. This is perhaps the best game I have played. As far as content, the game isn't nearly as bad as it's made out to be. Batman never kills his enemies, but he can be brutal in combat. Language isn't frequent but can be heard, nothing serious. There are some characters that are dressed provocatively but really, you see worse walking through a shopping mall. The only reason I put this at 12+ is the scarecrow sequences. While cheesy, they can be frightening to some younger children. Overall a great game I recommend it to any young gamer.

Fantastic but not as scary as the movies

I think that this game is great but violent but really not anything we have not seen before. If your tween/teen has seen the movies (batman begins, the dark knight) anyone 13 and up should be pretty okay playing this game. The language is brief and you will hear the d, h, brief b, and very brief a words from goons. But then you do get to punish them by beating them senseless and then puting them in jail. As for violence goes there is a lot of shooting fist fighting but very mild blood but really not to different from the POW and BANG from the original batman. The two female villans have outfits that show some skin but not to much. Really I think common sense media was being harsh when they rated this ages 15 and up because this game is way less scary than the dark knight. If parents are still unsure if they should let their kid play this game get the demo and play that first. Overall I hink this game is really fun not to scary or violent as the dark knight and it is a game that is sooooo worth your time and money.

i love this game! there is not that much killing but this one level if a goon sees you people die, but then you restart the level but if you fail 15 times the people die and come back to life 15 times. its a must have for ps3 or xbox but on ps3 its better (no offense)

Very decent game

It is a very good game. Definitely for tweens and up. Because it is violent. It doesn't have blood when you punch asylum inmates. But when you fight Joker when he is a mutant he has blood coming from his spikes. There is some language such as a** s**t b***h d**n and hell is used. It doesn't have any thing extremely sexual. But cleavage is shown by Poison Ivy. The game is scary though. It is probably the most dark Batman game.

Good game. Bad content.

Some characters smoke. Blood can be seen throughout the seen on walls, floors, Batman, and enemys. Some characters are...... Scary. The game is EXTREMELY dark. High body count. Some... Unsuitible clothing. Yeaaaah... But the game takes problem solving skills. ALOT. It took me like 2-3 months to finish. If your child is, well, good at video games, and the games arent lasting long, check how long they take to finish this game >:D

Not too violent.......

I've played Batman: Arkham Asylum and it's awesome. Batman doesn't kill any villains, so it's not officially killing. It may contain some fighting moves, but it's NOTHING compared to Mortal Kombat. If a kid likes violence but has a protective parent, this is a game you should get. Or you can get it for fun because it is extremely fun to play

What Parents Need to Know

This game has amazing graphics and the game play is even better than the previous Batman games. But content wise there is quite a few curse words like B---h, a--, and da-n, nothing too serious. The violence is not gory, u get to use different gadgets and variations to silently take out thugs and hand-in-hand combat doesn't involve blood either. Sexual Themes is an issue, for instance the girls are hardly wearing any clothes and their boobs are huge and so are their butts and all their body parts are barely covered up. So I'd say you need to know your child before he gets this game, it may seem bad but it really isn't, he also has a very positive role in this game and is a good influencing game and the parents may overreact on this game because the long list of content on the back of the game, overall not that bad, very fun game and a must have, trust me i beat it 100% and also got all the achievements for it, 13 and up.
