bloody science fiction shooter

VIOLENCE: This game is extremely violent. Any body part can be completely blown off with tons of blood there. Definitely the most violent game I've ever played. Blood can be turned off and when you do that it is replaced with sparks. Theme of this game is "kill with skill" so things will get very creative. LANGUAGE: ridiculous amount of profanity present in this game including f**k, sh*t, d*mn, *ss, b*stard, hell, c*ck, d*ck, p*ssy, d*ldo, wh*re, and so on and so forth. A great deal of the sexual content comes through the language and skill shot titles. You can turn off the language and make to where you cant see the title of the kills. If you don't turn any of this off it would definitely be a 16+. If you are looking for a sci fi shooter that you can just get lost in this is the game for you.

Really fun game that is not for everyone

This game is so fun and cool. Most parents however may not approve of this because of it's frequent strong language, and bloody violence. There is ton's of swearing, but the thing about language is that kids will always hear it in school, on TV, in Movies and much more. The violence is rough, but some of it is played for really dark humor and it has a lot of gore. You can electrocute, blow up, and put them on spikes, and a lot more. In this game you can drink alcohol and get drunk and your vision becomes blurry for a few seconds in game play. So far from what I have heard there is no nudity present, but there are references and sexual jokes that talk about being gay, and many other type of sexual talk, and there is explicit language used in some of these terms. I feel that a 12 year old can handle. If this were rated as movies are rated it would be R: Strong Sc-Fi Violence and Gore, Pervasive Language, Crude and Sex related Humor, and some drinking. You can turn gore and strong language off, but there will still be mild language.

Ok game, overall not really worth buying. If your kid wants it, tell him a real gamer said it's just a fad.

Great game, however, could get a better game. This game is clearly for those of an older audience. This game requires quick thinking and fast action. In terms of content. Very innopropriate, skill shots are of a juvenile nature, practically all skill shot are named after sexual innuendos, and the dialog juvenile. This is the kind of game that aims for collage students. As for quality... this game can be much to be desired recommend that you could easily buy a game with more appropriate (or not as inappropriate) content with Gold Standard quality.

Fantastic game but not for the faint of heart

I have to say this is one of the most stylish shooters ever created, gory and sweary this is NOT for the faint of heart or kids. BUT there is an option to take away bad language and violence, which in my opinion makes this a perfect game for 11+

Disable Gore and Language, it helps a lot!

Bulletstorm is game where you take the role of Grayson Hunt, a constantly drunken space pirate with and interesting plot. Players use a leash to fling enimies around and impale them into spikes, giant cacti, fans, explosives, etc. If you do not turn off blood and gore, enemies will constantly be dismembered or decapitated. The game is constantly centered around violence and the you way you execute it. You constantly earn skillshots, based on the way you kill your enemies, and sometimes represent alcohol use and sex(Drilldo, Gag reflex, fire in the hole, rear entry, etc.) One loading screen contains a Sexual Reference(Make sure you reload in the heat of battle, no one wants to get down to business half cocked) Players are allowed to drink alcohol throughout the levels, which results in a screen distortion effect, though the player gets more points for shooting the bottles than drinking them. The game constantly throws the words "Di*k" and "P**sy" at you, and swearing such as "Sh**", "F**k", Assh**e, "C**ksucker" are constantly used in the dialogue. The game does allow you to turn off this profanity, completely changing the word to something less offensive, this does not get rid off "Da**" "A*s" or "Hell" The characters dialogue also contains Tons of sexual references, which can not be altered.(Now I know how the old gal got that limp) (They just keep coming, it's like herpes.)Other sequences contain violence: an unarmed, crawling man, shot to death. Points are used as simulation currency to buy weapons and upgrades.

great game, fun and diffrent from other fps

for all the people who complain about the swearing, children hear much worse launguage at school and when there out with there friends. also in the playground it is used far more frequently than in the game. and for the gore, its not real. parents need to realise that its just a game. i dont believe that if my child played this game he would run around the place trying to blow people's brains out. if you think its going to change there behavour, it wont. what will change there behavour is if you limit them to what they can play when i was a kid i remember not being allowed a game and all my freinds where, that is what makes me angry. the less you restrict your kids the more respect they will have for you.

Good and gross at once.

This game can be very fun. The content is very gory, the language is over the top, such as F--k, s--, and a ton of potty humor. This game also has the record for the most conjugated forms of the word penis as an insult. The story was a lot better than I thought, as it involved freinships, secrets, betrayal, and loss. Too bad most of the game is just dunked in buckets of gore and potty humor that you realy don't get too enjoy the story as much as you should. Even the skillshot concept is explained fairly well.
