Casper's Scare School: Spooky Sports Day

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Casper's Scare School: Spooky Sports Day is a collection of fake sports mini-games, all with a "spooky" twist, since they ostensibly take place at "Scare School." There's nothing genuinely scary here, though. This game is based on the Casper Scare School TV show. Despite looking and feeling like a party game, the game only supports one player. Younger kids may need some of the directions explained to them, as the written instructions aren't always clear.
What's it about?
CASPER'S SCARE SCHOOL: SPOOKY SPORTS DAY offers ten different events, some of which are \"spooky\" takes on regular sports. For instance, while bouncing a soccer ball off of your head, you have to try to hit ghost targets. While running a race, you have to yell to \"scare\" cardboard cutouts of humans. There are others, like skateboarding, that seem pretty straightforward and are only \"creepy\" because monsters are performing the tricks.
Is it any good?
A collection of spooky sports mini-games set at a school for monsters sounds like a fun idea for a game, but Casper's Scare School: Spooky Sports Day doesn't live up to the potential offered by that concept. Most of the games aren't very exciting, and several of them are poorly explained, leaving you to figure them out as you play. It's also extremely strange to have a collection of sports mini-games that's only playable as a solo, one-person game. A little competition might have gone a long way toward making this game more fun overall.
