Parents need to know that Chenso Club is an upcoming action game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs. The game takes place after aliens have invaded Earth, attacking and destroying everything they come into contact with. Fortunately, a young group of women known as the Chenso Club have taken up arms and fighting back against the invaders using their own energy sources against them. Players can go through this title alone, or can partner up with a friend for co-op play. The title will feature a growing roster of characters, each with their own weapons that they'll use to destroy the vast number of creatures they face in each stage. Gameplay is built around randomly generated levels that will have a side-scrolling or vertical stage presentation, making it impossible to expect or gauge what you'll be fending off at any point in time. Not only will you have to contend with aliens that will attack you from all sides, you'll also have to be wary of environmental traps, such as pits or spikes ringing each stage. Landing on these hazards will drain your energy, which you can replenish by defeating and absorbing energy from aliens, but there's also a trade off that you have to be aware of – you can also spend some of your powered up life force with merchants to gain additional powers or weapons, like satellites that will attack enemies for you. Of course, you can always regain energy if you destroy your opponents, but you're significantly weaker, so one or two hits in this state can force you to restart your progress. Similar challenges can come in the form of traders that will offer new powers, but will intensify the difficulty of each level until you run into them again, which tests your skill at surviving this new degree of adversity. Aliens will explode into bloody chunks when defeated, but otherwise, there's no inappropriate content to be found.
