Good for tweens, but think about anything younger than 12, iffy for 11.

A pretty good game over all, considering that you can practically go from killing zombies with a baseball bat with nails in it, to killing zombies with a manican! I'd say that this game has lots of violence, but if you don't mind blood and gore, than this game shouldn't be too bad. Just remember that there is casinos where you can gamble games on. Also, take safety into an issue considering that you can stick saw blades into a vacuum cleaner, or turn a toy helicopter into a deadly tool.

Great game, not too scary

I think this game is fine, there isnt too much gore except blood but the graphics for the blood isnt very well detailed so it shouldnt scare you or anything. Im 12 and I find this game fine. I normally dont like horror games because I dont like the feeling of being scared too much, but I think this game is okay. Would recommend to anyone perhaps 10+. The website review is very over the top when they say "Intense bloody violence" in my opinion.

The main problem in this game is blood and gore but it depends if you are disturbed by it. The game does say it has sexual themes. The game won't drop a F-Bomb but it will say some other foul language.

Dead Rising 2 (Not A Dead game, Is Rising)

This game is very awesome, the save mode makes the game annoying a couple times, but combined with the time limit, makes the game intense and also the fact that you need to find Zombrex. Don't listen to the people who say it is bad, they aren't very good at the game and don't know how to play correctly. It is pretty violent and some of the PhyscoPaths and their deaths are quite disturbing, but 12 and up is fine if they are mature

fun, but not for long

it is an extremely violent game. the entire game revolves around slaughtering zombies in the most creative way possible. however there is a difference between killing people and killing zombies. for some it will be fine but for others it may have an effect. the game is extremely fun for the first couple of hours. after that is gets kind of boring. once you explore the entire map there isnt much else to do that is fun. the missions are repetitive and the combat with anything other than zombies if difficult and annoying. there is also a timer on all missions which is annoying because you are forced to do the story missions before time runs out or else you cant continue the story. side missions can be ignored but eventually you will run out of time and it feels like you are missing out on something. all these timers leaves you almost no time to explore the mall. don't pay over 10$ for this game

LEARNING

Dead Rising 2 Is AMAZING

There is very highly violence in this but i dont think think it is horrible. Sex there is some parts for sex such as the women who put her hands round anothers waist and playboy magazines. Language there is a quarter of this bad language such as sh*t cr*p a*s and others but not f**k. Drugs, drinking and smoking there is few parts but there is some like Zombrex for drug and beer that makes chuck greene sick and walk in a wrong way. It is ok i guess

DEAD RISING (DEAD GAME, AIN'T RISING)

Although this game will appeal to most teenagers just by the fact of killing zombies (even though Capcom did good at that, weapons, creative ways, etc.) The save mode is crap, the way to get life is shhitte! The only good things are : okay graphics, weapons, character personalities and cutscenes. But it aint as good as people say, it is kinda rubbish and boring overall. AND HAVIN TO GET THE ZOMBREX DAILY IS SOOOO ANNOYINGGG! its hard and impossible to get. If your up for a challenge, get this.

Finally,another great game from capcom.

Basically your this character called chuck Greene.you are in this place called fortune city and you have to fight your way through thousands if not millions of zombies in order to save your daughter.this is not very violent compared to off the record, because it is presented in comedic ways.this is not a horror game,it is a dark humor zombie game.the black comedy may lighten up the tone of the game but the violence is totally unnecessary.i got this game last year (I'm writing this review in 2011) and although I played extremely long hours without stopping for breaks or anything, sometimes I would have to walk away from the screen for a few minutes .its totally gory and bloody, however not graphic unlike left 4 dead and is EXTREMELY cheesy.however, take note that it is very cringe worthy and may get to some children,so under 10s is iffy and PARENTAL SUPERVISION!!!

Awesome game

great game but it is a little to violent it is fun but gory.the role model are that your rescuing survivors on here.only mature players on here.the story while your on this game show called terror is reality you have a 7 year old girl named Katy and she has to take the medicine ................................ zombrex.and some one one frames you for releasing zombies and the point of the game until case2-2 is finding who framed you.so the game play is awesome.good game but on for 13+ iffy for 12,11 and 10.though they made a off the record one and case west with frank west.you can play co-op but one is chuck and the other one is chuck on co-op.i suggest you rent it first and if you like it buy it and no like then don't buy it.
