What’s It About?
DUNGEON RUNNERS, a massively-multiplayer online game (MMOG) for Windows PCs, is set in a fictional medieval fantasy world with monsters and magical characters. Dungeon Runners is a role-playing game (RPG) in which the player is represented in the game world by a character of their own creation.
In Dungeon Runners, players guide their character through dungeons (maze-like environments) to fight against monsters and complete quests for in-game rewards and experience points. Experience points allow the character to increase in level and fighting ability, and thus tackle more challenging enemies and complete harder quests. Players meet other players in various towns in the game world and form teams to tackle more challenging objectives. Players communicate with each other via text or voice chat. Voice chat requires a paid subscription.
Is It Any Good?
Dungeon Runners stands out from other dungeon crawl RPGs for its wit and fast-paced game play. Those who have played and appreciate other RPGs will enjoy the satirical approach, although many of the game's jokes may be lost on younger players.
