Awesome game for teens and up
I play this game myself and yes there is violence, but I never think of doing any of the violence in real life. Also because it's a open world sandbox game, all things you do come with consequences, like if you choose to do good things like help catch criminals, save people with ambulance, drivie taxi, you will be rewarded. So it's like the real world, YOU got to choose, killing random people is usually not rewarded, instead it will gives you wanted level and have police chasing you all around the place. Yet again it's also your choice to shoot more people and police to have some fun with police shootout because anyone mature enough will know it's only a game and surely being surrounded by bodies and police force isn't fun in real life at all. As for the missions, its not always about killing your enemies, yes it can be, but not always, it's mostly for the story line which is really well-written. If you don't like the rampages, just don't do them, its your choice. As for the sexual drug content, there is actually not much in vice city. There's no sexual scenes at all and even your character deal with drugs, there's no direct showing of the using of drug though out the game. I don't even know about the whole prostitute thing even I go into the strip club many times, there are just a lot of different citizens ( including police man and soldiers which is quite funny for me :) There is no nudity inside and definitely nothing hinting about having sex. The language is nothing, I guess nearly all teenagers know those words from the real world already but is mature enough to know not to use them. Overall a cool game, a 13 and up will be able to handle it. So if your kid ask you for one of the GTA series, choose GTA Vice City.
