Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that Just Dance Kids is an active game in which players literally get up and dance to dozens of family-friendly songs. The game's soundtrack varies from classic rockers like the Beach Boys to songs from children's shows like Yo Gabba Gabba. There are specific controls that players must follow to earn high scores, but the game is more about getting up off the couch to move around and enjoy a variety of different songs.

What's it about?

As a music game, JUST DANCE KIDS is all about dancing along to songs with energetic beats and fun melodies. There is no real story to follow, as the game encourages players to just pick it up and play, whether it's for five minutes or an hour at a time. There are dozens of songs to choose from from varying genres, though the lyrics take a back seat to the beat and rhythm of the music. The main point of the game is to get up off the couch and move. Kids mimic prompts on the screen to do dance moves and achieve points.

Is it any good?

Just Dance Kids is a great addition to the successful Just Dance game series for younger players. The music reaches a more universal, family-friendly level and is accessible to players of almost all ages. Just Dance Kids is able to provide an energizing time to anyone who just wants to have a fun, casual gaming experience.
