What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Marvel’s The Avengers is an upcoming action game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs. The game is based on the popular comics and movies from the long running comic series, and is an original tale staring Earth’s mightiest heroes. Initially set in San Francisco, the story takes place as the Avengers are ready to open a headquarters in the West Coast city. Unfortunately, a group of bad guys manage to sabotage their celebration with the citizens of the Bay Area by destroying the Golden Gate Bridge and detonating a weapon that devastates the surrounding area. This causes the heroes to disband, only to reunite five years later when a threat arises that threatens the entire world, requiring only the Avengers to save the day. The game features lots of combat with random soldiers and villains from the comics, although no blood or gore is shown. Black Widow is shown wearing a skintight outfit, but otherwise, there’s no inappropriate content to be found in the game.
