What parents need to know

Parents need to know that N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is an upcoming adventure game available for download on Windows PCs. This is a sequel to VA-11 Hall-A, which was released in 2019, and maintains the same bartending aesthetic from the first game. But while the previous title took place in the cyberpunk-influenced walls of Glitch City, N1RV Ann-A takes place on the fictional island of Saint Alicia in the Caribbean, where characters go to escape some of their troubles on vacation. Players will take on the role of Sam and Leon, bartenders that serve drinks to the patrons that walk through their tavern's doors. Unlike the original game, the bar on Saint Alicia doesn't serve synthetic alcohol to its patrons. Instead, since this is more like a vacation resort, players will serve real alcohol at a premium to customers (using actual recipes of drinks) to help them have a good time. As a bartender, players can also choose to disregard the drink requests that characters make in favor of what they think they need, which can change the way the plot (and a customer's story) plays out. Obviously, there's frequent use of alcohol in gameplay. There are also discussions of violence, sex, drugs, and other mature topics, although nothing's shown in the game itself.
