Great game

This game is great! Common sense says it encourages bad driving but hell how are the children going to get the chance to drive until they are mature enough to anyway? It has been said that one of the songs has some bad language and it did but it was so unnoticeable that I only noticed when it was pointed out and had a good hard listen to it ( I have owned the game for about a year now). If it was so noticeable PEGI wouldn't have rated the game 7, but still be wary.

NFS is a totally appropriate game!

Need for Speed(NFS) is a totally appropriate game for younger audiences. If you're child is heavily influenced by games than he could become a reckless driver but this is unlikely. Although you can get chased by cops and take out the cop cars there is no proof of death and the pursuing cops say only that the car has been "taken down".

Not that bad

This is just as bad as nfs carbon [see other review]. But there is cops and you outrun them if you go online there is some cool people. For some challenges you have to use teamwork to win. But there is also open chat but i have never heard profane language. If they are 10 it is fine to let them play

depends on your kid

It depends on your kid. If they want to be a policeman when there older then 6+ but if they love cars hang out with wrong kinda people and swear alot then 12+. The game is amazing but the inappropriate signs are hard to find and I doubt a 6 year old would realize. You can also turn of the music so they don't hear the rude words in one of those songs.

Great Game with one teensy weeny problem

The game is a good game but has a fake radio station that contains a song about a weatherman. There are about 15-20 f words in just that song. Other than that the came is completely clean with great graphics.

Some Things.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted is probably one of the best Nfs games, but there are a few things I do not recommend for children under the age of 12 or 13. As you can tell from the name you are a criminal, which means you are supposed to out run the cops and destroy cop cars. Long story short, if you had an avatar, it would be Grand Theft Auto. The original Need For Speed: Most Wanted is E10+ and the 2012 is T. For children under the age of 12 or 13, I recommend Need For Speed: Shift or UnderGround.

Fine

Its fun and all but when i got it it was sorta boring the role models in the game are bad but i'm never gonna street race you can smash into other peoples cars and smash cops cars but no one ever really dies like when you "Kill" the cops its unrealistic i recommend it for anyone 6+ there is nothing bad about it besides smashing the cops and street racing.

OK For anyone!

Nothing is an issue. It is easy and any kid can play it.

Okay, but innapropriate sign in the industrial district

Okay for kids who won't be scared by cop chases, graphic crashes, and who won't do it in real life. However, one sign seen frequently in the industrial district is based on FedEx, but instead says GoodsEx. Good sex? YOU WOULD, EA!

Very Good

NFS Most Wanted is a very fun game. It may teach bad lessons of speeding and joy riding but it is worth it. Depending on the age of course. Buy it!

One of the Best Games for the Nostalgic NFS Person in you.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is a favorite for Anyone who remembers the older version, Even though some parts like the Blacklist system have been removed in recent years, it is favorably replaced by the "SP" System we know and love(and sometimes hate, im talking about Need For Speed rivals T_T) But the Police System works just like it needs to, it still shows you how much Cops are Down and how much are still responding, When i got this game it came in a Platinum Hits case but it is the same one as the picture shown for the cover. I really like this game and i hope you do too! Just remember to have Fun!

Kids version of GTA

There is a LOT of consumerism in NfS games, like this one. You could drive cars like Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911, and even a Lambroghini Countach and you can crash them, too.

Need For Speed 12?

Need for speed in is rate 7 by PEGI as far as I have heard, and it has no mention of anything inappropriate, unless your on online mode I recommend 13 and up, but when you play alone 7 and up is fine, all you do is crash cars, yes there is really bad driving, but if kids know about road safety they will be fine.

really fun

I got the game thinking cars are going to blow up and all that junk, is nothing like that. no language no cars blowing up and the worst stuff in it is when your car hits a wall and it bounces of. yes, you will hopefully not have to use the skills from this game to get away from the cops. it is a really fun game it won 18 awards for the best racing game. It's really fun to driver in your fancy car and then wreck it. I would let your kids play if they really want to. thx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
