Scoot & Doodle Great for School Projects

Scoot & Doodle is not only great for families but it's great for school work and joint projects that really use the collarboration, communication and creativity. Since up to 9 people can be online together it is great for group projects.

Scoodle Jam for the 21st Century Classroom

Scoodle Jam is one of the suite of products under development by Scoot and Doodle. Like Scoot and Doodle it offers an interactive interface that links users from across the room or across the world, putting collaboration at the user’s fingertips. Scoodle Jam is rolling out as a unique educational product that contains standards-aligned project templates that provide instant engagement for students, and cooperative communication between and among student groups, students and teachers, teachers and teachers, and/or parents to school personnel. The educational modules/templates are cross curricular in nature, and invite students from Kindergarten through grade 12 to design and innovate while practicing math, language, science, or social science skills within an authentic context. The tool palettes are filled with useful pre-drawn icons and backgrounds as well as whimsical symbols. The work surface is accessible by stylus or fingertip or keyboard and provides 8 continuous, scrollable pages. The ‘app’ provides a digital camera for capturing, and including real time images. It also connects to the Internet for instantaneous research or image download. Scoodle Jam also provides blank templates that invite teachers to design projects that fit the needs of their students and curriculum. Having used this iPad ‘app’ with students, I find it to be uncomplicated, flexible, and intuitive. Students are immediately and enthusiastically attracted to it because it stimulates their curiosity and draws upon their creativity. Scoodle Jam is becoming a must have classroom ‘app’ for 21st Century Learning.
