Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle has some charm, with its simple presentation, controls, and graphics. It's easy to pick up and play, with only three types of attack: weak, strong, and special. Players don't need to worry about crazy combination attacks, defense strategies, counterattacks, or any advanced elements. And you can customize your robots with armor and weapons, using pieces you collect, which provides some incentive to keep playing through the onslaught of enemies.

But you'll find that the game quickly becomes monotonous. Environments may have different colors and other flourishes, but they feel like copies of one another, with very little variety in terms of layout and structure. Also, there's not much that separates the enemies, making each battle feel like the same thing. The result is a game novices can enjoy but likely will become bored with.
