4 Ways You Can Help California's Kids
California Governor Jerry Brown needs to hear the voices of parents and kids right now.
Sitting on his desk right now are four critical "For Kids" bills that would establish new parental leave rights, safeguard the privacy of young children, improve arts education, and protect children's health.
We applaud the Legislature for passing these important pieces of legislation that promise to move us closer to ensuring that every child in California gets the right start they deserve.
But this promise will not be realized if the governor doesn't sign the bills into law.
Please join us in asking Governor Brown to prioritize kids and families by making sure your voice is heard and taking action below:
SB 654: Help Pass the New Parent Leave Act - DID NOT PASS
