unnecessarily stressful

We thought this would be a nice, pleasant journey, but unfortunately my children (4 and 6) spent most of the time hiding their heads. There was danger for the main characters throughout, as if we are trying to prepare them young for the traditional hollywood model of an action movie. Lots of time spent portraying a group of pigeons who are addicted to the internet, which suggests that the target viewing population is pretty old, actually. My kids obviously had no idea what that was all about. Can't say I really minded the disco-singing bird as the other reviewer did though. It's unfortunate to see homophobia in the reviews on this site.

Hidden character

There is a flamboyant bird character that seeks to sing “I’m coming out” throughout. It is his them and while it may go over the kids heads. I did not appreciate the character. The movie overall was pretty boring and blah to my three children.
