BEST MOVIE EVER!

I loved it. The plot was interesting but it was a bit violent and they used some bad words. Other than that it was fantastic.

Epiclly Epic

It was a great movie! The plot was really interesting, the animation was amazing, and there were some good messages! It was kind of violent, but tweens can handle that.

Great for kids 12 and up

I personally loved this movie! The only problem I had with it was a violent scene where I had to cover my eyes. Overall, however, it didn't take away from the movie. The plot was also occasionally a bit too hard to follow.

Like

Like alot, the effects are amazing, the story is a tad cliché but still good, I would definately recommend it, because it is extremely interesting and action packed, there is violent scenes, language, and one "mating" scene. But it's still great, just not for younger kids.

Avatar Not A Movie For Teens Or Kids Alike!!!

This Movie Is Awesome When I Went To Go See It I Saw That Jame's Cameron's Work Has Been Done! And It's A Cool Movie Especially For Kids And I Am Betting That This Movie Is Great To Watch And Positive Messages Are To Take Care Of Your Planet And Not Let Extinction Come To It! This Movie Has Some Violence But It's Not Over The Top But Some Scenes Are Intense And Scary Like The Part Where Pandora Is Under Attack By Human Soldiers Ready To Kill Animals And Creatures Alike And There Is Plenty Of Blood Splattiring As Animal's Die In A Violent Way There Is Also A Part Where Humans Kill Soldiers In A Brutal Violent Way And Plenty Of Them Callapsing And Dying And There Is A Scene In Which Jake Sully Fights A Guy In A Machine He Attacks Him And Inside The Machine Blood Can Be Seen Spurting Out And It Is Shown That The Man Dies Because He Was Attacked And Haunted By Strange People And Jake Sullly Is Alright! And Some Langauge is Not okey for Kids Such As S--- A--- H--- Oh my g--- And Other Obsenites! And This Movie Has Adult Themes For Both The Child And The Teen And If You Are Older And Don't Understand How The Soldiers Threaten Pandora Then Don't Watch This Movie! 18+

Good movie for older tweens, and teens

The movie was good, but it was extremely weird. I usually thought "What the heck is with all this spirit stuff?" I don't see why people thought it was so great. It was a only a good movie.

great for 11-15, but not for 1-8

This is a great movie. I watched it 5 times. It has a great message, like how not taking care of the planet can result in human extinction. It has the s word a lot and some other milder stuff, but no f word. It does have smoking, and grace uses the b word a couple of times. But the role models are great! they are trying to save the Na'vi's home and world and they are on the good side. The captain general dude would probably scare little kids because he's tall, muscular, and has a HUGE gash-scar on the side of his face. There is a huge violence problem for younger peeps because it involves stabbing, shooting, dying, people getting shot down as they run away, the leader of the Na'vi's getting a huge ol' stick flung into him and he dies, explosions, gas bomb things, scary airships with lots of missiles, and big robot things the humans get into that have big guns and giant knives. Jake does have a big gun and tries to shoot a big beast. There are a lot of scary animals that kids mite be scared of and the general is in a robot suit an keeps repeatedly stabbing a scary beast over and over until it dies. Near the end jake is in his avatar thing machine and the window breaks and they start losing oxygen and jake tries to reach his ventilator oxygen mask on the wall, but because he lost his legs (not in the movie) he can't reach it and is clinging and goes unconscious. little kids think he dies. then netyri comes in and saves him by putting the oxygen thing on him. Greta story line, but a little scary for little kids.

Not for pre-teens

Way too violent for pre-teens and too much breast/nipple shots. Lots of bad language and American soldiers are portrayed as being ready to kill anyone that gets in their way, even children. Too mature for young teens as well.

It is pretty good, but not the best.

It is good, but not great. I agree with everyone else who said there was way too much love story, but the 45 minute action scene at the end made up for it. It is probably ok for younger kids though, if you dont mind medium level langauge and sci-fi violence.

Good

Avatar is a very good film. It is quite violent. Near the end a man is badly injured with blood all over his face. There is some sexy stuff when Jake and Naytiri mate. They are almost naked. Language includes: a couple of uses of 's--t' and 'holy s--t', one use of f--k. There's also a use of p--s and ass.

It was pretty good, minus the whole love story. It had some good action though, and wasn't very innapropriate except for a few bad words and a lot of explosions. Bruteslayer out.
