batmans origin

I loved this movie. It was the best in the trilogy. But some scenes may disturb, like scenes with the scarecrow.

Batman Begins Review

Technically, the film is consistently impressive. It creates a grimly gothic vision of a crime-ridden and depression-ravaged Gotham City, a dandy pair of chase sequences involving the new generation Batmobile and a range of innovative visual effects.

Batman begins review

Darker, more serious, and more violent than Spider-Man, X-men, and Fantastic Four but better than all of them too

A very smart, well done superhero film. Christopher Nolan brings us a gritty, frightening tale about Batman that is best left to older kids. There are scary & disturbing that WILL frighten everyone under 9. The story is excellent and there is no shortage of great action, music, and visual effects. This fantastic film has mature themes and intense violence. There is some swearing but it's not a big issue. Batman Begins is the action movie triumph of 2005!

CSM, I totally agree with you on this one.

Batman Begins was very smart and entertaining. It's just a little too violent for the little ones. There is also some cursing, smoking, drinking, and romance. This is still a great film though.

More entertaining than TDK

I know most people think The Dark Knight is the best Batman movie ever and I agree but I actually enjoyed this a lot more. I like how this focuses more on Bruce Wayne/Batman, Christian Bale is criminally underrated. There's martial arts fighting and the Scarecrow and the hallucinations he makes people see might scare young kids but overall not too much to worry parents. Plus it's more of a standard action/superhero movie than The Dark Knight (more of a crime drama) was which kids should find more entertaining.

Great!

I loved it. a great revamp of the old campy movies. great actors filled with thought provoking dialogue, mixed in with entertaining action. the language is not too bad, but the main thing is the violence. although out, there is extremely intense violence, and very frighting images. I would not suggest you're younger kids see this. My MPAA Rating is: PG-13 For intense violence, mild language, and disturbing images

First in the Dark Knight Trilogy is Brilliant, complex and well directed

Batman Begins is the movie that changed the superhero genre. It is an entertaining movie with a good storyline, solid acting, music, editing, Directing, and cinematography. On the bad side there are about fifteen profanities (All mild) and the storyline is dark. Just realize that “Batman Begins” isn’t for little kids or even tweens. It is for teenagers on up and will entertain them and grownups for sure. Ages 13+.

Great origin story!

This was an epic beginning for Gotham's Dark Knight. He is trained to kill, but refuses. Full of thrills and excitement, any teen will love this.
