This movie is gross, Nicole Kidman's character falls in love with a child that she thinks is her dead husband, some parts of the movie contain disturbing language in graphic sexual manner. Don't waste your time watching this horrible movie.

Intriguing masterpiece

I really do not understand the negative reviews, I thought the film was brilliant in exploring love and really allowed me to empathize with the characters. Personally I thought it was great!

i think the director tries to tell us something, just i don't really know exactly what, but overall i guess it is like a magic spell that even though Anna's husband is dead, maybe there's like a spiritual sole that through the little boy Sean warns her not to marry Joseph. Though, it is quite uncomfortable to watch a little boy and a much older woman fall in love with each other.
