What's the Story?
When Cloe, Sasha, Jade, and Yasmin learn their parents are snowed in and won't make it back in time for Christmas, they head to the mall with Gran to visit Santa -- but they discover that Santa is in trouble and won't be able to deliver the presents in time. As they strike out to rescue Christmas and save the day, they discover that not getting what you want doesn't always have to be a bad thing.
Is It Any Good?
Bratz Babyz are a tough sell. Though every other character in this animated adventure looks realistic -- Grandma has wrinkles and age spots -- these toddlers could not look less like actual toddlers in any shape or form. But, if you can get past the shiny manes, lipstick, mascara, and eye shadow on characters that are hardly out of diapers, there are some positive messages here and a can-do spirit about problem solving. Overall, the adventure is a pretty convoluted one, but the themes are simple enough: We don't always get what we want, but sometimes we get something better if we can just keep a positive attitude. That's something to embrace, even if the packaging isn't exactly up to snuff.
