Hysterical Bachelor Party Comedy

This had the potential to be one of those movies with a cast that promises a hit, but it turns out to be plain bad. This wasn't even close to that scenario. It was frequently very, very funny, with humor appealing to teens and adults, not 100+ minutes of potty humor. These were smart, funny jokes and the movie just worked spectacularly. It is a bit crude and there is frequent swearing, so mature 11-12, or teens and up.

Old man bachelor party flick is really funny and surprisingly sincere...

"The Hangover for old men!" one may think to their self before watching Last Vegas. I have seen a little bit of the first Hangover on TBS (it was edited of course) and based on the bits I have seen, that film is quite funny but Last Vegas has its own style of a Las Vegas bachelor party. Last Vegas is a tale of four senior citizens (one of them does not even really want to be there) who try to loosen up and get wild for a couple of days before their lifelong friend (Michael Douglas) gets married...but is this really the lady he wants to mary? Robert De Niro asks Michael Douglas this a couple times during the film. Honestly as soon as the person he really wants to makes eye contact with him, you know exactly what's going to happen, but no spoilers! Last Vegas is actually quite a bit of fun. All four actors bounce off of each other really well, there's lots of really fun antics the characters get into (such as trying to pay someone to get into a local nightclub, running jokes about Michael Douglas's hair, Robert De Niro being danced on by a member of LMFAO, our four leads not knowing about things such as Red Bull, and so on), surprisingly heartwarming moments including messages about friendship and a really fun love subplot between Michael Douglas and...I said no spoilers! Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline mostly steal the show and have the most memorable lines and moments! Overall, if you want a hilarious and heartwarming time at the theater, I say you give Last Vegas a trip!

Not explicit, but too much adult content for children

Besides being pretty boring, the movie contains too much objectionable material for children. None of it is explicit, but the consistent undercurrent of this movie is that we're here to have selfish fun, no matter who we hurt, and in disregard for any consequences of that behavior later on: 1. Plenty of alcohol is consumed during adult partying. 2. A much younger woman is marrying a rich 32-year-older man for his money. 3. One of the men's wives gives him approval to commit adultry at the bachelor party in Vegas. 4. The main character, the older man about to be married, chases after another woman in Vegas at his bachelor party. 5. There is a small part with female nudity, and since this is four guys on a bachelor party trip, there is significant dialog that objectifies women as sex objects. 6. There is the normal crude and profane language common in adult films.

Last Vegas

This was a cute movie, and I think that it was much tamer than The Hangover. It had a lot of funny parts. There was some sexual humor, and some profanity, and there was social drinking in Vegas. This had some really funny parts and was really sweet. It was just all-around enjoyable.

Lots of laughs

It was a very good movie but too much bad cursing and sex. At the end it gives a good message about family and more.
