Poltergeist. One of the best movies ever created in the eighties. This movie is scary. And exceptionally intense. Such as the character ripping off his face (it is an illusion, but is still intense/frightening due to lighting effects and gore make-up.) This is still an excellent scare for young pre-teens who want to level up in movies. Swearing is not as fluent. One scene of border line PG-13-R violence. But is not that bad. This is an excellent classic that should be watched in the dark, at sleepovers, or just at an family night. My Suggested MPAA Rating, PG-13: An intense scene of explicit violence, intense horror themes throughout, drug use, and language.
