Powerful, Emotional, at Times Depressing Drama

Room is a powerful drama about woman who is raped, confined to a tiny room and gives birth to a son. The film centres around the relationship between Ma (the mother) and jack (the son) and the way he sees the world living his life in a tiny room. Violence : 1/5 This film has little to no violence but is very serious and at times very depressing as it deals with serious themes like suicide, rape and abduction. A woman is strangled by a man for a brief period of time. Language 3/5 About 5 F-Words, other mild profanities. Sex and nudity : 3/5 No nudity at all. Sex/rape is heard. A woman’s naked silhouette is seen behind glass when she is taking a shower. Drinking, Drugs and Smoking : 2/5 A woman tries to kill her self by overdosing on prescription pills. Messages : 3/5 Messages about parently love, family and determination.

Really great but for older teens and adults

This is a great movie! There is a sceen where ma has a drug overdose and there is some sex but you dont actually see anything but you see the man taking off his pants and they say lets get into bed
