Howard's masterpiece is great, but totally meant for mature audiences.

Parents, this intense and thought-provoking racing drama from Ron Howard may be on your teen's radar, but the graphic images and sexual content makes it only for mature viewers. Violence includes some very disturbing images including broken bones, burned skin, skin being grafted on to a skinless arm, and bloody race car accidents. Sex includes female nudity (buttocks and breasts), some graphic sex scenes, implied masturbation, and a scene that takes place in a strip club (with flashes of female genitals). Language is frequent, with uses of f--k, s--t, and c--t. Sonofabitch is also used infrequently. In the end, this movie is good, but only for mature audiences. SUGGESTED MPAA RATING: Rated R For Strong Sexuality Including Some Graphic Nudity, Pervasive Language, Disturbing Images And Brief Drug Content

OSCAR WORTHY

Excellent, it really was. The race scenes were stunning and it was hugely entertaining and very well made. It does definitely deserve a couple of Oscar nomination and Daniel Bruhl was sensational in the role of Niki Lauda.

An excellent movie; view with caution!

I saw this when I was nearly 13 and I was fine even though I had to cover my eyes at some raunchy parts. There's a pretty steamy sex scene at the very beginning and a woman's bare chest and man's backside are exposed. Throughout the movie, curse words are used but nothing mature young teens can't handle. There are two topless women shown and some intense sex scenes but they're short. Some disturbing images and events are included. Drinking and smoking are heavy. However, cussing and sex and violence aside, there are some great inspiring messages given in this movie; you just need to look past all the raunchy elements. I loved this movie and was very moved by the messages and events. Definitely worth seeing!

Okay movie

Some nudity and sex, pretty graphic when on screen, and the movie has mature themes and ideas. This could be viewed by 14-15 year olds, but it has content that I think only adults would enjoy. The movie dragged a lot, but it was okay.

Excellent!

Wow! What a film! You all need to know that this is a fantastic film about the 1976 Formula 1 rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Despite being fantastic, there were a few sex scenes (no genitals seen though) where breasts and naked (from the back) people are seen. There is also a lot of bad language in this film, along with some gory disturbing injury detail.

Intense F1 film has crashes, swearing and sex.

I can understand why MPAA have given Rush an 'R' rating and why BBFC are giving it a '15' rating but in my opinion, kids aged 12 and up could handle it. It has maybe 20 uses of 'fuck', two sex scenes with brief nudity and bloody injury detail, one showing a drivers shattered leg and the other showing Niki Lauda's severe burns.

If your an F1 fan, this is a must-see!

The best movie of 2013, with one of my favourite actors Chris Hemsworth. The BBFC gave Rush an age rating, '15' for strong language, sex and bloody injury detail. And it was rated R for similar notes. Around 20 f-words and one funny use of 'c--t', but it is hard to hear. A couple of sex scenes, one in a shower and another in the toilet of an airplane. Still, teenagers should be absolutely fine with this masterpiece. It's worth a watch.

Away From The Ballpark For 10 And Under

A Really Good Movie.. But It Contains Uncensored Sexual Contents Such As Full Frontal And Back Female Nudity And Backside Male Nudity.. There Are Glimpses Of The Back Of Chris Hemsworth. And Sex Is Shown As A Revenge To His Ex-Wife Who Cheated On Him, By Having Intercourse With People.. There Are Some Disturbing Content Such As Burnt Face, Medical Procedures Such As Putting A Vacuum Through A Man's Mouth To His Lungs etc..
