This brilliant and highly entertaining slasher thriller is also a sequel to the first movie Scream. After the events that happened at the collage, surviver Sidney and her friends are living a happy life, until a horror movie shows in theatre's, and two collage students are brutally murdered. At the time, Sidney isn't aware that the killer is the same killer from before. This killer mainly stalks collage students by calling them on the phone, then brutally killing them. It's Sidney and her friends jobs, as well as two news reporters to take down this brutal killing beast. Will they kill this murderer and is this murderer trying to replicate the previous events that happened years ago? Violence 5/5: Strong, bloody horror violence throughout, including characters being brutally and graphically murdered. In a bathroom, a man is stabbed through the face with a knife, as blood splatters and pools. A woman is stabbed multiple times in a movie theatre, blood pools and spurts/spills. A young collage student is graphically stabbed many times with blood splattering, and then she is thrown of a deck, landing her in a pool of blood. In a car accident, a man is impaled through the eye with a mettle stick. A man is shot once in the chest, and blood pools and spills out of his chest. Lots of brutal hand and feet fighting, kicking, and bashing with blunt objects. A man is shot dozens of times as blood splatters furiously. Many characters are graphically stabbed with blood splatters. A man is killed by being bashed into a car window. Disturbing scenes show teenagers being murdered. A young woman has her throat slit. Many disturbing and gory wounds. A reference to rape. Teenagers are constantly stalked, and tons of dread and terror throughout. Many jump shocks and terrifying imagery. 0/5. Language 4/5: Frequent strong language is limited to several uses of f--k, s--t, d--k, p---y, bulls--t, f----t, and a-shole. Drinking and drugs 2/5: One sequence shows many teenagers smoking and drinking alcohol. This movie is brilliant, highly entertaining, and very exciting, but due to the strong, bloody horror violence and language, it's way too much for teenagers. My rating:R for disturbing violent horror content throughout, language, brief drug use, bloody images, and frightening content throughout- some involving teens.
