Great movie for teens

This is a good movie to watch when your bored. But parents beware, this movie contains a lot of violence, drinking and very scary images. There also a few bad words. I think teens will enjoy this movie more than adults and children of course.

Highly enjoyable!!!!

Absolutely wonderful film! My favorites are 1,3 and then 2. Version 1 and 3 could almost be tied, because I really enjoyed this one, the humor and action is very engaging! A great story continuing from number two with a nice twist. Harry (James Franco) is still upset with Peter because he now knows that he is Spider-man (who he falsely believes killed his father). After a massive fight between the two, Harry loses consciousness and nearly dies, but when he wakes in a hospital he experiences amnesia and forgets everything that happened between him and Peter, which makes their friendship go back to normal (for now). Meanwhile, Peter and Mary Jane are finally a couple and just when everything seems perfect, a black gooey substance follows Peter and eventually attacks him which creates a black spider-man suit that when worn, turns Peter into a mean spirited person who only seems to want to hurt others, including driving Mary Jane away by flirting with Eddie's girl friend Gwen. Annoying photographer Eddie (Topher Grace) also gets affected and is taken over by his dark side too and becomes a frightening venom creature. Third villain is a normal family man who desperately needs money to save his little girl, he transforms into Sandman (which was one of my favorite scenes!) Peter finally understands what changes his moods and ditches the black spider-man suit and finally Harry learns that Spider-man did not kill his father and therefore saves Spider-man's life. Violence is heavy with lots of battles between comic characters, fights and killings. Mary Jane is hit by Peter at one point. Sexual content has scenes of kissing, flirting and cheating. Language is a bit stronger than the first two with more name calling words but nothing extreme. Also a scene of heavy drinking during a tough time. I highly recommend all three movies (watch them in order), perfect for 10+ I think!

Spidey one last time.

Spider-Man 3 is the last spidey movie with Tobey Maguire playing the webhead. This movie is more violent than the previous two with two main characters dying, one getting blown up and the other getting impaled, the latter actually being more gruesome. Peter drinks in this movie when he is in the dark suit as well as saying his first profanity (d-word) Harry drinks as well. A couple of kisses is really all the sexual content in this movie. Peter is still the postive role model from the first two movies. The postive message in this movie is forgiving others for what they have done as well as yourself. Thanks for reading.

Not as bad as Spider Man 2 but still more intense then the first one.

Younger kids could still be frightened by the violence in this one.

A step back from spider-man 2

It starts off great but it winds up as a disappointment of a ending to the trilogy. The action is entertaining yes, but it lacks the soul of the last two films. Also more then one villain NEVER WORKS. There was also unnecessary sexual content. It's worth watching if you are a fan but just.....well....prepare to be let down.

Better than expected!

After the lukewarm reviews, this movie was such a pleasant surprise! The excellent acting and character development are what set the Spider-man series of films apart from typical summer action fare. Good moral lessons to discuss with your kids afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed this.

Its great but...

It is good and mostly appropriate, but there are kissing parts. It is a good movie because there is a little lesson to learn. The lesson is be the true person you really are and do not think to much of yourself. It is also a little sad when someone dies. You should watch it, but in the beginning there is 1 villain, in the middle there are 4, and in the end there are 2. There is a lot of action but it is slow in the beginning and picks up in the middle. You should watch it. It is a good movie.

Is Spider-Man 3 any good?

I think that Spider-Man 3 was really good, but you have to watch the first and second Spider-Man movies in order to understand whats going on, like how he because Spider-Man and why some people are angry at him. Or else I really like the movie even though they kiss a lot and there are a lot of girl problems and stuff like that. But despite that It's a great movie and it shows not to let your revenge take over you and power isn't always good. I totally recommend this movie, really good!

Kids will be dazzled by this movie, but its story falls short of the second one

This is a very dazzling movie. But it's more violent than numbers 1 and 2 combined. That's some intense violence. Kids under 12 probably should have parental guidance for this one.
