Not For Feint Of Heart

This movie will twist your mind inside and out and upside down. There is sexual content but it doesn't show much. The most you see is Dren when she is naked but she's not really a human, just human-looking. It's definitely not a movie for children under the age of at least 16. If you can't take a little bit of horror and oddity then this isn't for you. I love it though.

COULD have been great.

Could've been super awesome. Turned out mediocre at best. Lots of sex. You see Clive and Elsa having sex (you don't see anything) but it's really obvious that that is what they're doing. Clive ends up having sex with Dren, which there is nudity. You also see Elsa getting raped towards the end. I understand that the underlying message is about parenthood and struggles with it and all that.. but it's still.. Definitely NOT a movie i would let any one under the age of 18 see.

Seriously messed up sci-fi thriller isn't for the faint of heart

This is one twisted film. The wirter must have been going insane when he wrote this film. Yes, I'll admit it was well-made and well-acted, but none of that matters when you can't enjoy a film this horrifying! Parents: Please use EXTREME caution; this movie contains extremely disturbing and unsettling content, including biogenetic sex changes, rape, murder, inter-species sex, attempted murder, sexual assault, startle scenes, and much more. Plus, there's strong, awkward sex and fierce language. Bottom Line: This film is not for the faint of heart. If you are a fan of dark, well-made, but ferociously disturbing sci-fi films, then you may enjoy this. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I promise you there are much better (and cleaner) sci-fi movies. This is an all around spectacular sci-fi movie for older teens and adults. It has an easy-to-follow plot thats enjoyable, but has 2 very awkward parts. The movie has only one gorey part when two experiments fight to the death when one of them suddely changes genders. Also, the mild bloody, but brutal scene when Elsa amputates Dren's stinger may cause some tension. There is 3 sex scenes, one being a rape that will surely frighten some audiences, and one being a very awkward scene when Clive and Dren get it on. Just keep in mind that this movie isn't exactly made for children, but its well worth the movie ticket.
