Is It Any Good?
StarBeam's Halloween episode, like the series itself, is a fun -- but just "fine" -- superhero tale. The lead character Zoey/StarBeam is kind and brave, but she's not especially cunning in the ways she defeats the episode's Captain Fishbeard villian. If kids are already fans of StarBeam, they will enjoy Halloweeen Hero, but otherwise this special is unlikely to stand out from other fun spooky stories.
