This is exactly what you'd expect from a Strawberry Shortcake DVD: Fun-filled lessons in friendship and being yourself are shown through words and example. And the girls learn these lessons while realizing what hard work it takes to be a successful musician.

While the musical training process the girls undergo isn't entirely realistic, the stories do show both the importance of practicing instruments and how much fun kids can have by learning to play music. It also shows that it takes lots of time and practice to become proficient.
