The Election is a good time

The Election is really funny. When I watched it I couldn't stop laughing like everyone else in the theater. Once you see it you will see what I mean. I will probably see it again later on. If you need a good comedy this movie is the movie for you.

Hilarious but not for kids!!

A few funny but visual sex scenes lots of cussing but it was hilarious. The amount of cussing and crude humor is the main concern and the sex scenes. But touching ending and great lesson behind the story.

Only for kids that are not disgusted by sexual things

Not bad, but only for mature kids, no matter the age.

Surprisingly funny, good duo of actors, people who like old school and other raunchy adult comedies will love this movie, people who don't will be disappointed

This movie is way funnier than I expected. Will Ferrell always rocks. Sex: 9/10; A man has sex with a girl in a porta pottie, a man has sex with a married woman, then posts it on the Internet. A man is shown with his genitals blurred out. Much much more. Language: 9/10; constant strong profanity. Violence: 3/10: A man is bitten by a snake, a man punches a baby and a dog. Just silly violence Scares: 0/10; none Funniness: 7/10

Not for kids, but hilarious!

A lot of sex, profanity, trash talking, violence towards animals and also a baby, family issues. WARNING SPOILER: Besides all the negatives this movie deserves a five star, Cam Brady (Will Ferrel) wins the election, he then resigns and gives his place to Marty Huggins (Zach Galifanakis). This movie deserves a HUGE FIVE STAR, it is a bunche of classic old Will Ferrel comedy, but 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times more funny and inappropriate, I love this movie! I hate listing the negatives to this hilarious movie but I would not recommend parents letting their kids see this movie.

Not for kids, funny, but trashy

The movie overall was okay. Funny, some times sexist jokes. Sex tap is partly shown. No violence. Violence is VERY strong. I think they used about every cuss word widely known. The main characters insult each other alot. The end is pretty nice. Not for under 17 year olds.

May the Best Loser Win

The film itself though isn't really a mess. It actually features some hilarious content which is exactly what it's supposed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. But, The Campaign does have some sexual content/brief nudity, heavy language, and drinking. B.

The dinner scene with Marty Huggins is worth price of admission!

While the movie isn't quite one extreme (very over the top) or another (biting satirical political movie) it has big laughs, and the audience and myself had a blast through the whole thing. For older high schoolers who will appreciate the nuances of Ferrel and Galifiankis' performances. Very well done!

The Campaign

This was a funny movie. this was a good choice for political season, but Ted is overall funnier. There was some comedic violence, but not enough to highlight it. The sex jokes and situations were frequent, and there are two affairs. Cussing is frequent and should be 'Pervasive'. Drinking was seen but not bad. This was a good movie, but there are better comedies out.
