Seriously, this movie was NOT that violent. I don't know what's up with the 14+ at the front. And I don't know what's with the 18+ and 1 star. This movie was super good, one of the best I've seen. All of my kids loved it! If you think that this is only kids killing kids, then your wrong. Read the book, there's actually a story behind it. The plot isn't just picking 24 kids and throwing them into an arena to kill each other! The Hunger Games is one of the best books too. Good things: not much language and sex. If you think this movie is too violent for your kids, then just make them turn away at the super violent parts. My wife is just like guys, don't look! She is super overprotective, and won't let my kids watch stuff like needle shots in the neck in The Divergent! Let your kids watch this movie, and stop babying them. If you are a parent out there that is amazingly and stupidly overprotective of your children, just read the book first, and learn the plot behind the kids killing kids. The people that created the Hunger Games had a reason to. (Not the author, the capitol). I would recommend this book for all kids ages 11 and up. Again, stop babying your kids, and let them watch this movie!
