17 and up.

this dark drama movie iceman is a good but disturbing film based on real-life events about a dedicated father who becomes good at some point in his life and then changes to become a ruthless contractor serial killer working with the mobsters with this being said the movie is good enough for your mature audiences and parents you need to know that the iceman has a lot of intense bloody violence such as brutally, coldly stabs, slices, strangles, and shoots several characters on screen also in one gruesome disturbing scene the contractor killer and the ice truck killer are shown together cutting, chopping, and slicing up there freezing corpse victims into pieces to make them harder to identify for the police and in one scene two characters are shown having sex in bed cover in bed sheets but no nudity shown but still you can hear and see both characters moaning and groaning also characters used constant strong language throughout the movie and characters used drugs, smoke and drink social such as wine, whiskey and for the drugs cocaine.

The Iceman Short Review Summary

Is very good at humanizing a cold blooded killer who is still considered a despicable person in general, full of hate and silent violence. Michael Shannon does a tremendous Oscar worthy job at portraying real life New Jersey hitman, Richard Kukilinski. It is not the best biopic in terms of Kuklinski's timeline history, in fact it often zips through, getting to the point with the man himself in only an 1hr and 45ms. I'd say it's fine for 16 and up, not as violent as it's shown to be.
