Know your kid. :)

this is a great movie to see. teens will most likely get a first impression that its boring but honestly it is very entertaining. Lots of sexual innuendo and one scene one of the boys does it in the bathroom. Usually the most talk about a girl sexually is said so fast but could still come off bad for younger viewers. 2 f-bombs but gr8!

GREAT

This movie is basically the college movie. KEEP THIS REVIEW AT THE TOP of the charts so they can know the truth-a lot of sexual content. Drinking and drunk. Wild, out of control parties, language. All this stuff wrapped together in a nice, neat package with a bow on the top for the Facebook users.

A Genius Landmark

It's really a genius film with a remarkable rarity, filled with excellent performances and a bleak but beautiful and mesmerizing soundtrack. The editing is Oscar-worthy. The most explicit scene in this film lasts for only a minute. Cover his/her eyes during the bathroom scene and you'll be fine, except for drug use and a fair amount of language. Almost too much for PG-13, but if your child is intelligent and interested in Facebook, take them as long as they're old enough.

drugs sex still can make a good film

although this film includes a lot of sex ,drugs (cocaine) and a minimum amount of foul language it is still one of those films which really gets you into the mind of mark zuckerberg founder of face book also a issue is the amount of advertisment of facebookthe cast includes jesse essinberg and justin timberlake

Very good, but above average drug use, sex, language for a PG-13

This movie was very good, but surprisingly had drug use, including marijuana out of a huge bong, and some snorting of cocaine off a young woman's bare stomach. There was two F-words, and quite a lot of a**, sh*t, and other words. There was lesbian kissing, girls dancing suggestively in underwear, talk of sex, and implied oral sex in a bathroom. No violence, just lots of yelling in arguments. Very good movie though, just know how mature you are.

I Liked It, But Not Enough To Remember It.

Decent film, a good coming of age movie. Huge promotion for Facebook, it's worth watching but isn't the best movie out there.

Facebook origins story is masterfully told

The Social Network is the compelling story of the foundation of facebook. A story which is likely going to attract plenty of viewers, especially teens. David Fincher's direction in coordination with Aaron Sorkin's screenplay and Eisenberg's powerhouse performance keeps the film powerful from start to finish. Note to parents: The movie contains implied oral sex, uses of f--k, and drinking. Not exactly for young kids.

Great film for ages 12 and up

Great film, but my sister and I had to cover our eyes for two scenes. And they said a really bad word once. That's why I put 12+.

The Most Vulgar PG-13 Movie In the World

One more strip girl can cause a landslide. There were 2 f bombs which are very rare in a PG-13 movie, drugs everywhere, sex everywhere, and jerk characters. This is the most vulgar PG-13 movie in the world.

Great Movie on The Dark Side Of Fame and Fortune

I loved this movie. Don't get me wrong, many of the aspects like oral sex, drugs, drinking, and the whole "Rating Based on Hotness" thing were unnessesary (Pardon my horrible spelling) and at times frustrating to watch. Mark goes on a blog and calls his recent ex-girlfriend the word for a female dog, clearly hurting her feelings. Sean, the founder of Napster, is a class A jerk, manipulating Mark into giving his friend less of the money. But I do like the fact that even though Mark's friend is suing him, they still help each other throughout the movie and have a strained yet genuine friendship despite the division money has brought between them. The acting was PHENOMENAL and very realistic. Good to show 14+ year olds when talking about the heartbreak money can bring into your life if it becomes your god.

i rate this title IFFY for ages 14+

What to watch out for * Messages: On the one hand, seeing all these young entrepreneurs be creative and innovative is a great example for teenagers, but some of the actions that lead to Facebook's success are shady and unfortunate. * Role models: They're big thinkers with great ideas, but many of the characters make questionable, borderline unethical decisions. Mark alienates and forces out his best friend, and he's accused of stealing the overall idea of Facebook from three other Harvard students. The character of Sean Parker is egomaniacal, parties a lot, and is the main catalyst for some of the uglier wheeling and dealing that goes on behind the scenes. * Violence: A couple of men nearly come to blows but are stopped by their friends before an actual punch is thrown. In one scene, security comes to escort a character after he violently destroys a laptop. * Sex: Sexuality is one of the main themes (and one of the major motivations for Facebook) of the movie. No graphic is sex depicted, but in one scene two young women take Mark and Eduardo to bathroom stalls, where they kiss passionately before the women take off the guys' belts and perform oral sex (you see one woman squat down before the camera cuts to the guy's ecstatic face). In another scene, a couple wakes up together but neither can remember much about the other -- including their names. The girl walks around in panties and a cutoff top. There's a scene of strip poker, and lots of women come on to the guys, make out with them, and dance around them while scantily clad. In an online pre-Facebook stunt, Mark pits women against each other for others to rank according to "hotness." * Language: Lots of casual use of words like "s--t," "a--hole," "screw," "h**l," and "bi*ch," and even a couple "f--k"s. Also "godd**n" and "oh my God." * Consumerism: Obviously, the movie is a huge promo for Facebook, even if the tale of its origins is at times deeply unflattering toward founder Mark Zuckerberg. Many other brands are also featured, including Gap, Livejournal, Heineken beer, and schools like Harvard, Stanford, Boston University, Columbia, and Yale. * Drinking, drugs, & smoking: College students drink like fish. Mark and his sophomore roommates get drunk and stoned in their dorm rooms and at frat parties, dinners, and nightclubs. There's lots of beer, cocktails, and champagne drinking, as well as pot smoking and even lines of some drug (probaby cocaine) about to be consumed.

Great screenplay, amazing story

This is a great movie but unless some kids have a very sophisticated taste in movies, they are not going to like it. This movie has an amazing and complex screenplay and the story is amazing. Also, all of the performances were outstanding. Definitely the best movie I've ever seen. Very fast-paced and verbally agile. It also taught me a lot about business and many things I never knew about how Facebook was founded. Although younger kids and other kids my age might think it's boring, I thought it definitely deserved to win Best Picture.

Fantastic attention grabber!

The Social Network... Where to begin? This movie isn't just about Facebook. This movie is about the life of a young adult trying to renew his image by creating one of the most, if not the most, viewed website. The script was tastefully written in a manner that I could understand most of it, and it wasn't cheesy. Everything in that movie was there for a reason, which held your attention from the opening scene to the credits. It also helped that the movie went along quickly, so it wasn't five minutes here and ten minutes there of people doing nothing. It was action packed in a way that is difficult to describe. That's the magic of this movie. The story was easy to follow. The characters were easy to understand. The best part? It was real! Maybe that's why I was so interested in this movie... because it was real, it shows what really goes on in life, not some unoriginal script with an unrealistic plot. It was real. It was fantastic. It was worth seeing.

Notifications: 1. It's a movie review.

I t was a pretty good movie, but it could have been over in about 5 minutes if Mark and Eduardo had just sorted it with a poke war instead of like $60,000,000

You know what's cool? You? No. This movie.

I absolutely love this movie. Still a little upset it didn't win best picture at the Oscars this year, but nevertheless a definite must see. This movie isn't just about facebook, so don't dive into it thinking its just about that, because that would be ignorant. There is so much more promising aspects of this movie and David Fincher really delivers a fantastic film. Also there is tons of smart, witty humor which I full on appreciate. Smart people for the win.
