This was really fun. The first half was boring then it just starts getting exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. It's fine for 9+ but there's too much cursing

Older kids to grandparents will be talking about his one long after they leave the theater

There Good messages and role models in this fast paced movie that won't let up till the credits roll. The only problem here is the language with there being swear words in almost every scene. Other than that it's refreshing to see a good unique movie come out of hollywood these days.

Denzel Washington and Chris Pine bring excellent performances in this mostly exhilarating and entertaining film. Perfectly appropriate and recommended for young teens 12+.

Unstoppable is a mostly exciting and entertaining film that is perfectly recommended for young teens 12+. The story is set in the present where a retired veteran train engineer named Frank Barnes(played Academy Award winner Denzel Washington) and a rookie train conductor named Will Colson(played by Chris Pine) who is about to learn by Frank Barnes what conducting a train is like. The big conflict is that this train that is to be stop is carrying lots and lots of toxic and poisonous chemicals that kill anyone or anything that is the train's way. Unstoppable is a film that is somewhat complicating to understand and sometimes really intense. Some intense scenes really start happening when the main characters try to stop a runaway train from crashing into ordinary objects that are in the train's way. Denzel Washington is excellent as Frank Barnes and Chris Pine is fantastic as Will Colson. Unstoppable is a exciting and entertaining action-packed runaway train flick that gets a little slow in the first 45 minutes of the movie, but then quickly the film starts to get really exciting and extremely entertaining! With at first a slow beginning, this film is filled with excellent acting performances from both Denzel Washington and Chris Pine, brilliant directing form Tony Scott, a script that is outstanding and terrific, and even action sequences that are always suspenseful, intense, exhilarating, and thrilling! Unstoppable is an edge-of-your-seat suspenseful thriller that is perfectly recommend for young teens 12+. I give Unstoppable a B+. I also give Unstoppable three and a half (stars) out of four stars.
