Great start

Not the best of the series but pretty good. Only a little bad language and some violence. This movie is a great start to the x men series and shows wolverine's identity before he joined the x men.

Action packed xmen

There is plenty of stabbing because of Wolverine's claws. Characters also use @ss, b!tch, d!ck and sh!t. Mystique walks around naked, but scales cover her genitals and chest, however, her exposed buttocks are uncovered.

Thumbs Up!

I enjoyed it. It was lots of fun, and i enjoyed the acting. There were a few bugs, like the costume changes, and Hugh Jackman looked too young to be Wolvering (at the time). But that doesn't make this movie any less amazing! Go watch this movie! TheFMan Out.

X-Men movie review

Before "X-Men" came out, there was no truly great superhero movie. The best superhero movie before "X-Men" was probably "Superman II". "X-Men" took characters not many people heard of and brought them to another level. "X-Men was awesome". It is one of the most powerful origin stories for a superhero franchise. The chemistry between the characters was fantastic. We really cared for all the X-Men. The synopsis was simple yet brilliant. That being said, I felt like some scenes were incredibly rushed. The filmmakers should have taken more time with some of the character development. Other than that, this movie was really good. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes superheroes and comic books. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

the original x-men

x-men is about a group of mutants try to protect mankind against the brotherhood led by magneto. There are several fights and though there is little blood there is a disturbing scene where a character evaporates and one character is completely naked throughout

One of the best movies, with some violence

There's no blood and gore anywhere in this movie, but it does have some violence. Magneto (the villain) seems to, in a way, torture Wolverine sometimes, thus taking advantage of Wolverine's valuable metal-coated bones. The most violent scene is when Wolverine accidentally stabs a girl through the chest. No blood is shown, but you see clearly his claws protruding right through the girl's back. This scene doesn't last very long, though. Another somewhat agitating scene, is when Wolverine starts to remember his surgery to insert the metals into his body. Although this isn't anywhere near explicit, it could be a little scary for younger kids. So 10 year olds would probably be okay watching this movie.

A good start for the franchise but not the best. For me, some cheesy action but don't let that hold you back.

Great movie for kids of all ages!

This brilliant movie is great, and really kept me hooked until the last minute. The only concern is the violence, which never gets graphic in the slightest, but still might be disturbing to young kids. The most "graphic" scene is when a girl gets stabbed through the chest by Wolverine's claws. Although no blood is ever shown on the screen.

Fun superhero flick too disturbing for young ones

7/10 stars. The acting is good and so is the story. The special effects and action are ok ( probably due to the year it was made and the budget ). Something in this movie is just off. The violence is all highly stylized and mostly bloodless. The level of sexuality is extremely low but there is enough language "s**t", "d**k", "son of a b***h", "a*s", and "hell" to make this a PG-13. There is a little bit of nudity. There are many disturbing sequences including a body that practically dissolves and a mom taken from her son.

One of the Most Mild Marvel Movies

There wasn't as much action as I expected, but there was still some. There's also some language and partial nudity. There's good messages and role models too. And no, it's NOT "anti God".
