Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that "As Long as You Love Me" is as clean as any Justin Bieber tune out there and is free of profanity, sex, and iffy behavior. That said, the song takes a more serious tone about love than the many of Bieber's earlier, lighthearted singles -- demonstrating that though the Biebs is still making music for younger ears, he is indeed growing up.

What's the story?

"AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME" is the fourth single to be pre-released from Believe, the third album by R&B phenom Justin Bieber. With an assist from rapper Big Sean, Bieber gives another glimpse into his growing maturity, singing more somber lyrics, such as "as long as you love me, we could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke."

Is it any good?

The slower pace of this song sets it apart from Bieber's pop-song pack and highlights the heartthrob's strong vocals. They play well off of Big Sean's rhymes, resulting in one of the stronger tunes to come from this album so far.

Families can talk about...

  • Families can talk about whether there's wisdom in the lyrics "As long as you love me, we could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke."

  • Besides love, what else do people need to ensure their health and safety?

  • Should being in a relationship be your top priority in life? Why or why not?

Great song, Way to sexy video

Great song!!! I love it!!!....But the music video to this is WAY to steamy for kids any ages!!! I was about 45 seconds in to the video and turn it off because most of it was a sexy bedroom scene. Great song, way to sexy video.

Bad song

This song shows how sad the singer is. Personally I hate the song. It is lame and the video is gross.
