What's the story?

"BETWEEN THE RAINDROPS" is the lead single from Lifehouse's sixth studio album. It's an easy, pop-rock track about facing every moment of life with someone special. It also features the vocals of the fantastic Natasha Bedingfield.

Is it any good?

With a constant pulsing bass and vocals that have the perfect balance of gritty and graceful, "Between the Raindrops" is an infectious track about stepping through every moment of life with someone "with nothing left to lose" and "chasing after gold mines and crossing every fine line we knew." It's about living life to the fullest, even when it's scary, and gets better with each listen, inspiring you to get out in the rain and go for it, no matter what it is.

Talk to your kids about ...

  • Families can talk about what scares you. If you could do anything, what would you do in your life? What holds you back? How does society place expectations on us?

  • Do you have someone in your life that you could face anything with? What makes them so special?

  • Do you think we see enough examples of enduring friendships and relationships in the media?
