Parents Need to Know

Parents need to know that "Everybody Talks" is a single about a guy who is taken with a girl and tries to get her to take him seriously -- despite all the gossip swirling around about them. The lyrics mention kissing and going to a "love shack"; it also describes the girl as being like a "drug" and "addiction." Otherwise, the language and allusions here are clean, making the track an OK pick for older tweens and teens.

Is it any good?

QUALITY

Just a hint of punk can be heard in this mostly pop concoction, which sports a rapid-fire beat that you can't help but tap a toe to. Lively vocals from lead singer Glenn Tyler add to the upbeat tone.

Okay song.

Once when I turned on the radio and this song was on, the "love shack" part was the first thing I heard, lol. It's an okay song, but it sounds pretty much the same as Neon Trees' other single. It's sorta catchy, but I don't like it enough to buy it on iTunes or anything. -Samantha (chocolatecake123)

Pretty Good.

Good song, but nothing spectacular. Kind of catchy. I'd give it 3 and a half out of 5 stars.
