Questionable Language?

I'm a father of two elementary-age daughters and also a middle school multimedia teacher. My students in my multimedia class are attempting to refute my claim that the S*** word is in this song. I've checked some lyric websites and it is there and others do not have it. When you listen to the song there is definitely something there that is not in all of the lyric sites but it could be explained as something else. Here is the verse in question: "All this trash talk make me itchin' Oh my, my S***" I just want to know so that I am able to eat crow or stand by my decision to not allow it. Thanks,

Fun rock song

Mentions of love like a drug: "Hey baby, would you look my way, I could be your new addiction" and "Hey honey, you could be my drug/you could be my new prescription/Too much could be an overdose".

Okay song about ignoring rumors

The song is okay. It's about rumors, but it says to ignore them, which is good. The only line that might be considered iffy would be, "Hey, honey you could be my drug/you could be my new prescription/Too much could be an overdose

One of my favorite songs

This song is awesome. I love Neon Trees. There's nothing wrong with the song except one use of the s-word. But there's nothing really inappropriate in it. It's a catchy and fun song.

Pretty Good.

Good song, but nothing spectacular. Kind of catchy. I'd give it 3 and a half out of 5 stars.

Okay song.

Once when I turned on the radio and this song was on, the "love shack" part was the first thing I heard, lol. It's an okay song, but it sounds pretty much the same as Neon Trees' other single. It's sorta catchy, but I don't like it enough to buy it on iTunes or anything. -Samantha (chocolatecake123)
