What's the story?

Who knew that an album \"revolving around\" a UFO theme could be so good? Maybe every track doesn't reach galactic heights, but HEY, MR. SPACEMAN! comes pretty darn close. The album also delivers some pleasant surprises, like L.J. Booth plucking acoustic guitar and singing with the best of them on \"Mr. Moon.\" And not to be missed: Jimmy Durante asserting, \"We're Going UFO'ing,\" and Maria Muldaur chiming in, \"Heck, I'd Go.\"

Is it any good?

With artists like Ella Fitzgerald crooning "Two Little Men in a Flying Saucer," and The Byrds singing "Mr. Spaceman," you just know that the results will be out of this world. And though children may be the intended audience for this lively album, its good fun will be enjoyed by parents as well.

Families can talk about...

  • Families can talk about how fun music can be when done well. And how about the obvious topic: whether they think there is life beyond our planet.
